How to use cedar incense? A short guide:

1. Light the bundle of dried herbs, holding it above a flame. Wait a few seconds until the incense begins to smoulder.
2. Extinguish the flame by blowing it out or gently shaking the bundle. After a moment, it will begin to produce dense, aromatic smoke. As the flame goes out, think about the intention accompanying your cleansing ritual.
3. Smudge yourself with the fragrant smoke, moving the incense from your feet to your head, then cleanse the room, objects, or people you wish to purify. Once the ritual is over, place the still glowing incense in a safe spot, such as a ceramic dish. After a while, the leaves will extinguish themselves – you can relight them again later.
